Spicy Cranberry Jam...

Sometimes recipes are born out of necessity....when a broken freezer gives you tons of defrosted cranberries, what better way to preserve them than making well, preserves!

Cranberries are the perfect berry for a quick jam. They cook quickly and better yet, gel up really well without having to add a ton of sugar (because we want to keep cranberries tart integrity) and don’t need pectin! Spicy cranberry jam is simply cranberries, sugar, warm pie spices and some water... turns out my little freezer meltdown made 6 perfect jars of a holiday jam for giving 😊
